The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA), a state corporation under the Ministry of Roads and Transport, is inviting applications from qualified Kenyan citizens for a wide range of positions. Established under the Kenya Roads Act of 2007, KeRRA is tasked with developing, managing, maintaining, and rehabilitating rural road networks across Kenya. KeRRA is currently seeking competent individuals to fill 290 permanent and pensionable positions across various departments. These roles span grades 4 to 12 and cover multiple fields, including engineering, planning, finance, legal affairs, human resources, information technology, public relations, administration, social safeguards, supply chain management, environmental management, and customer service.
Some of the key positions available include Assistant Directors in Roads, Planning, QA & Compliance, Legal Affairs, Finance, Administration, Human Resource Management, Social Safeguards, Internal Audit, and Public Affairs. Other significant vacancies include Principal Engineers, Senior Engineers, Principal Legal Officers, Principal ICT Officers, Principal Supply Chain Management Officers, Planning Officers, Engineers, Surveyors, Accountants, Internal Auditors, Environmentalists, Sociologists, and a variety of administrative and technical support roles. Entry-level roles such as drivers, assistant office administrators, assistant ICT officers, customer care assistants, and clerical positions are also available.

Successful candidates must meet the leadership and integrity requirements outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. Prior to receiving an offer, candidates will be required to present the following documents: a Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (TCC), a Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) clearance certificate, a certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), a stamped and completed self-declaration from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), and a clearance certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
