Bungoma, Kenya – May 8, 2025 — Bungoma National Polytechnic has officially announced its 2025 internship program, inviting applications from recent graduates for hands-on training across several key departments. The internships, which run for a fixed period of 12 months, aim to provide practical exposure to graduates seeking professional experience in technical and administrative roles.

Located in Bungoma County and known for its agricultural, technical, and business-focused education, the institution is calling on young Kenyan professionals to apply before the deadline on June 4, 2025.

Available Internship Positions

1. Electrical Department
Field: Engineering / Technical
Applicants should hold a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2. Human Resource Department
Field: Human Resources
Applicants must have academic qualifications in HR, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

3. Supply Chain Management
Field: Procurement / Supply Chain
Ideal for those with studies in logistics, purchasing, or procurement.

4. Fashion and Design Technician
Field: Art / Crafts / Languages
Graduates from fashion, textile design, or creative arts programs are encouraged to apply.

5. Applied Science Department
Field: Sciences
Open to candidates in applied science disciplines such as chemistry, biology, or environmental science.

6. Building and Civil Engineering
Field: Construction / Civil Engineering
Targeted at graduates in civil engineering, building technology, or related fields.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have graduated from a recognized university, college, or TVET institution

  • Must be a Kenyan citizen aged below 34

  • Must possess a Certificate of Good Conduct

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, computer proficiency, and a proactive attitude are essential

Note:

  • This is a non-renewable 12-month internship

  • There is no guarantee of employment upon completion
