Programme: Digital Literacy Programme (DLP) – Cohort 4

Deployment: Sub-County Education Offices across Kenya

Duration: 12 months (non-renewable)

Stipend: Paid by the State Department (rate set by Government)

Certificate: Awarded upon successful completion
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, an applicant must:

Have graduated in 2020 or later
-
Hold one of the following:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Education (ICT specialization)

Bachelor’s degree in ICT
-
Diploma in ICT or ICT Integration in Education
-

Be skilled in:
-
Networking & infrastructure
-
Applications development
-
Information security
-
Project management
-
E-learning and content development
-
-
Be willing to be deployed to any Sub-County on a full-time basis
Key Responsibilities
Interns will support digital learning in primary schools through tasks such as:

E-learning and content development aligned with curriculum
-
Training and classroom support for teachers using DLP devices
-
Implementing the Digital Learning Programme
-
Innovating digital solutions for school improvement
-
Ensuring safe and ethical tech use in schools
-
Assisting in ICT-integrated teaching and assessment
-
Developing school ICT policies and procedures
-
Offering first-line ICT maintenance and support
