The Kisii County Government has advertised 479 job vacancies across the health and education sectors, offering three-year contract opportunities to qualified Kenyan professionals.

According to a statement by the Kisii County Public Service Board (CPSB), applications must be submitted on or before 5:00 PM, October 30, 2025.

“Applications should reach the Kisii County Public Service Board by 5pm, October 30, 2025,” the board stated.

Health Sector Vacancies

The Department of Medical Services, Public Health and Sanitation has announced 279 positions, making up the majority of the advertised roles. The county aims to strengthen healthcare delivery across its public health facilities by recruiting medical and allied health professionals.

Key vacancies include:

  • Medical Officers (15)

  • Nursing Officers (16)

  • Registered Nurses III (110)

  • Critical Care, Theatre, Neonatology, Nephrology, and Cardiology Nurses

  • Clinical Officers (Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Nephrology, and General)

  • Bio-Medical Engineers and Technologists

  • Dentists and Dental Technologists

  • Pharmacists and Pharma Technologists

  • Laboratory Officers and Technologists

  • Physiotherapists, Morticians, Radiographers, and Nutrition Technicians

  • Public Health and Community Health Officers

The department also seeks theatre technologists, optometrists, and orthopedic specialists, among others.

Education Sector Vacancies

The Department of Education, Technical Training, Innovation, and Social Sciences has advertised 200 teaching positions for Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE).

These include:

  • 150 Assistant ECDE Teachers III

  • 50 Assistant ECDE Teachers II

All education positions are offered on a three-year contract basis.
