The highly anticipated battle for the first-ever Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) Men’s Kenya Cup title kicks off this weekend at the Kasarani Indoor Arena. Six exciting matchups are scheduled, as ten top-tier men’s teams across the country aim for the prestigious trophy.
Among the teams competing are the reigning KVF Men’s Premier League champions, Kenya Prisons, and Equity Bank, who recently triumphed at the Kipchumba Karori Eldoret International Volleyball Tournament.
Group A and Group B Showdowns

Equity Bank begins their campaign in Group A with a thrilling match against former national league champions General Service Unit (GSU). The clash is expected to be a fiery contest, especially after their previously scheduled third-leg league tie was abandoned due to a power outage. Equity’s coach, Patrick Owino, expressed confidence, stating that the matches will serve as a chance to evaluate their strategies and system’s effectiveness.
