About the Rubika Excellence Scholarship 2025
The Rubika Excellence Scholarship 2025 is now open for applications! In partnership with the French Embassy in Kenya, Rubika Valenciennes—Europe’s leading school for animation—invites talented Kenyan animation graduates to apply for a fully funded 3D animation training program in France.
This prestigious scholarship supports the growth of Kenya’s animation industry by offering one deserving graduate a chance to complete an intensive, one-year 3D animation program in Valenciennes, France.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Rubika Excellence Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Educational Background: Must hold a Bachelor of Arts (or equivalent) degree in animation or related field, obtained between 2022 and 2025.
- Animation Skills: Demonstrate advanced 3D animation proficiency.
- Program Availability: Must commit to attend the full academic year from September 2025 to June 2026.
- Passport Requirement: Hold a valid passport through to the end of 2027.
- Financial Contribution: Contribute €800 (approx. KES 120,000) towards tuition. (This can be paid in installments from the monthly stipend if needed.)
Scholarship Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive package that includes:
- Tuition Fees: Covered up to 90% (total annual tuition: €9,100)
- Round-Trip Transport: Flight from Nairobi and train to Valenciennes
- Accommodation: Housing provided for the entire academic year
