1. Project Assistant (Child Protection) – Kakuma Refugee Camp

Location: Kakuma, Kenya
Department: Child Protection
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose:
The Project Assistant will support the implementation of child protection programs in the Kakuma Refugee Camp. This includes direct support to vulnerable children, data management, community engagement, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments for vulnerable children including best interest determinations.

  • Implement recommendations from child protection panels.

  • Plan and deliver child protection activities including case management and counselling.

  • Maintain up-to-date case files and generate periodic reports.

  • Collaborate with community leaders and stakeholders to strengthen child protection systems.

  • Support education-focused activities such as school committee training and learning material distribution.

  • Participate in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Counselling Psychology.

  • Expertise in case management and psychosocial support for children, especially unaccompanied and separated children.

  • Experience in trauma counselling and community-based child protection systems.

  • Familiarity with national and international child protection standards.

  • Strong communication and report writing skills.

  • Fluency in English, Kiswahili, and local languages.

2. Human Resources and Administration Intern – Nairobi Office

Job Purpose:
